Two Paragraph Reflection
One of the driving questions that we were given to discuss throughout this semester long project was: What makes a person healthy? We we're encouraged to think about this both biologically and, socially. A person is healthy when they are not limited or restricted, by a medical condition. For example someone with coronary artery disease [CAD], they will have to go into the doctor's office for check ups more often than someone who doesn't have CAD or in other words, someone who is healthy. This person with CAD is also limited/restricted because they are told not to eat things with high sodium, so nothing with lots of salt like french fries or potato chips.
A pretty big challenge I had in biology class this year was that I was partnered with people who were not very compatible with my way of thinking, and vice versa. This was a struggle because my group members looked down on me and in a way treated me like a subordinate. They often wouldn't want to give me assignments because they felt like I was capable of completing them. I overcame this by being more communicative with them and my teacher Kalle. After this things were looking a lot better and work was distributed more evenly. I feel like I was able to completely overcome this struggle in a professional and mature way.
